If we don't have souls, then being dead would just be like being in a deep sleep, right? We wouldn't be conscious, we wouldn't have any sense of time, we wouldn't feel or think or experience anything at all... right? If we DO have souls, then would our souls be conscious 24/7? Or would we fade in and out of consciousness? Could our souls travel anywhere in the universe? Where exactly are heaven and hell, anyway? Are they in a different dimension?

Have you attained full awareness of your oneness with God?? if the answer is NO. then you should look around for you are "dead" to reality and are but dreaming."life is but a dream". "life is but a stage and we are actors upon it". You are a being of light, unconditional love. You are the life of the body, you lived berore this body and you will live after it is gone.

You know how when you turn on a lamp, suddenly the light goes on? Where do you suppose that electricity came from? Where is it going? When you turn off the light, it breaks the current, so any given current will manifest itself in many ways. Now go back to pre-earth, where was that electricity, what was that electricity? It had to be somewhere, but again manifested in a different way.

Our "soul" IMHO works the same way. There is life tied up in us that has always been and always will be, but this individual consciousness will be lost to the group consciousness.

If I may stray a little, we need death. Without it there would be no rejuvination of life and we simply couldn't improve.

What is your essence? That is your soul. In bad times, in good times, what is your essence? That is your soul. Do you think your essence needs a specific body, or do you think it could be in any body, or just somewhere in the space?

When you sleep, your body is tired and needs to rest. But does your soul get tired? If it doesn't need any rest, then it is always there, now, or maybe even in the future, without any rest. Just like the essence of a dried seed, without any rest, waiting to explore the world in a different shape.

Heaven and hell are the conditions provided for the seed by intentional and unintentional forces. It's a combination of luck and determination. Once the seed sprouts, it can determine its destiny by thriving for life, and not sitting idle.

As I know it.... There are two sides to it.... One part spirit, one part flesh..... Both parts, like a marriage, make it a living+soul....

The soul, itself, is the flesh because it is going to inevitably die...

The spirit, eternal, will live on... As the mind is constantly in motion be it awake (conscious) or asleep (subconscious).... It is always thinking making it eternal in thought......

At death, like a marriage that falls apart, the spirit and the soul separate......

According to the Holy Bible, to the body (soul), the thoughts perish.......

((and understandably so, seeing as the spirit which is the motion of thought, or rather, the living portion of the soul, is no more present)).........

The spirit enters a "veil", if you will that is immeasurable.... and there are two sides to it....... One side is so dark that the darkness is unfathomable and the other is so bright, it cannot be seen........

When the soul and the spirit separate, the soul returns to the ground from which it was formed, and the spirit enters one side of that place we call "heaven".........

Upon death, there is a reading of all those thoughts..... In the Holy Book, this book is called "life"....... It is not the "Book of Life", but a personal account of one individual's decisions made during their allotted time in life....... The reading itself is called: "judgement"...

being dead is the same as before you were born. doesnt that seem obvious?

fairy tales will tell you all kinds of pretty and nice feeling things to satisfy your childish desire to live forever... but the reality is that this is all just physics, its amazing and beautiful, but thats all... as democritus said in like 400BC "all that exists are atoms and empty space"

when the beautifully complex matter of your brain isnt organized in such a way as to create "you".. then its the same as it was before it was organized into a brain aka before birth.... so enjoy every minute alive, make everything count, have friends, love, be kind to people, because this beautiful insanity is all you get. and dont forget for one second how absolutely insane it is that you are even here in the first place.. appriciate it.

In dhyana one can create a similar situation of death. that needs the help of a Master who can guide you throgh it. one person's experience may not tally with another person's experience. so it is more of an individual experience.

we have souls. souls keep changing its clothes, thats the human body. once it moves out of the body, it finds out another one, usually within 3 months. i do not have any proof.

the only proof i've personally is that of my dad. he died of cancer. but my daughter has all the features of her granddad. this rarely happens within the family. he died four months before my daughter was born.

i do not think anything called heaven or hell exists. thats an absurd theory. its just scare people into joining a particular faith. it has no other purpose.

Well, you got loaded questions there. To answer them I can only imagine, of course. I imagine : it can be fun, no worries about any bills..lol! But it can be sad too especially when undone business while we are not capable to finish them.

To what my faith taught me : before the end of the day/the judgement day, the deads are staying in a temporary after-life dimension which is different to us and it's not heaven-hell yet. They can watch us, know what is going to happen to us, but unable to do anything to or for us.

Don't know go ask a dead guy oh wait they cant talk, breathe, hear, see, taste or touch. Death is nothingness and nothing more to us here. the only way to find out what's on the "other side" is to go to the "other side". I say why not enjoy what you have here lets not worry about death.

Quiet. We don't know for sure if there is anything else. I've had a NDE, but I don't know if the phenomena I experienced, was just the result of a dying brain or not.
