Possible, but not likely. Love at first sight is where you see someone, and the second you see them, you are in love. You can't be in love with someone just due to their appearance; they could be a selfish snob, a greedy person, or even eccentric. Unless you like selfish snobs, the person you see wouldn't be for you.But sometimes, the personalities click and you end up "completing" eachother, and from what I can tell, it doesn't happen very often. Then again, thats just my view on this topic.

If you believe in "love at first sight", you don't know what love is. You are getting it mixed up with infatuation, lust, desperation...etc. True love can only develop over time. While something like infatuation can develop into love, its not the same.

I think "love at first sight" is actually "chemistry."
I'm not surprised that it happened, but I once became very attracted to someone after corresponding with her by e-mail and then meeting her in person without having seen a picture of her, but I probably wouldn't have been very attracted to her if I'd simply seen her out in public.

I think it's more of a crush than a love. Yes I had a crush on someone at the first sight =)

I believe you like a person at first sight, could be attracted by the person's apperance, but that does not mean the feeling continues as feeling change as you know him/her more.

No I don't. BUT I do believe that you can meet someone and know you're going to spend the rest of your life with them. Not just sight. Actually meeting and talking and melding. That I believe in.

Is it possible to think you're in love at first sight? Yes, if you have a good fantasy life....then you realize what a loser he is and dump him...then he goes around telling everyone that he dumped you, and ....sorry, what was the question?

Yes! The first girl I ever kissed , and me the first boy for her , we had love at first sight , circumstances and country distance separates us .. after 43 years apart , I looked for her ,and now we are married , to finish our lives together .

The word "love" is very powerful. You can only use that word to a person that you can truly devote your life to. Therefore, without knowing the person, I don't believe you can actually 'love' her or him. But instead, you can only feel a strong attraction or affection towards that person... And crushes like that are not love.

22 years ago he said hello to me and I knew from that moment he was different. In a whirlwind we came together and lived happily until tragedy struck. He was the love of my life from the first moment I laid eyes on him. Now he's long gone with a different life, and so many years later, I still miss my one true love.
