do peple feel that if only they were famous, and at the eye of a raging storm that life would be more meaningful?
do poets yearn poetically for intensity because they too think it will redeem their life from mediocrity and meaninglessness?
arent drug users desparately attempting to inject some intensity into their lives?

In the name of Democracy world cannot control the rich and powerful and the poor and feeble live in poverty and pain though many many steps are taken in empower democracy. Practically can not find change but only in words.

I'll love to be a zoo keeper or a conservationist, not only for a day but as a full time career. just quit my job coz i wanted to pursue my passion and was dissatified with a meaningless job (was a media proff)..dont have a depentent family so cud make d choice...nebody else have this urge to let go of a lucrative job to follow their dreams? i will also appreciate advice abt how i can go abt realizing my dream, m based in India.

I have always worked, ever since i left school and assumed the aquisition of wealth and material things was important. when I had a minor stroke a couple of years ago, It seemed to put a different perspective on things, what does it matter if your car is not as new as the person next door, or that you live in a council property as opposed to private etc.

Personally I feel that I have to benefit people/help people and earn my money doing that.
So effectively I help others and in doing so help myself.
However doing a job like that(such as a nurse) would mean I would not be as rich as I could be(financially) and ppl out that treat those ppl with lesser money and heart in such a way that I feel bad and uncomfotable.

Like they make it such that you cant enjoy the little you have.
And I fear/worry that this will lead me to be a bad person down the line.
I have seen lots of ppl with heart and dedicate their lives either to their passion or helping others turn bitter and resentful afterwards cos ppl with no heart and just greed seem to get all the money and get treated well because of their money and get to walk over others with heart.

On the other hand if I let greed be my motivation, I will have a lot of money but I will only enjoy indulging myself with the money and not working for it because I feel like an exploiter of nature/man
