Eventually. Sometimes you have to wait for justice though. Sometimes it only comes in the afterlife. One day though, the guilty are punished & the innocent rewarded. Don't worry. It all evens out in time. It can be hard though to watch good people suffer & bad people thrive sometimes. Just be patient...Whether you want to call it Karma, God, Reincarnation, whatever, what goes around comes around....

Fair huh?
Life is what you make it into. It's tough at times, happy, lonely, crowded...it's how you react to the every changing challenges that make it fair or not.
Some one always has it worse than you...crippled and in a wheel chair, seems unfair...take the person who is crippled and can't afford a wheel chair let along a computer....they seem worse off.
Me, healthy, for the most part, and greatful...a bit over weight, so-so paying job, but I'm not obesed where I can't get in my car to get to work and at least I have a job.
It's all in the way you look at things...so fair, Yeah, I'd say so.
Keep the faith and it's fair.

Life is inherently unfair. They even have a law for it....the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics and it's corresponding corollaries found in Murphy's Law. That's why you see bad things happen to good people. Life is random, death is random, disease is random, all these horrendous events have no eyes or minds of their own being operated by some sentient being. The tectonic plates crash into each other causing pain and human calamity, do the plates have any preconceived idea of who's being hurt, whether they're good or bad.

Any attempt to fight entropy is temporary, by thinking positive thoughts and knowing that you're accomplishments will be lost to oblivion, should make you live your life to the utmost, for the short period of time that you're here.

Living life to the fullest, is the only way to beat this irreversible trend to death and utter annihilation. Should you be depressed? I say no, it should trigger an emotion of positive energy, even if temporary.

life is always fair but people just don't like admitting it. For every bad thing that happens to you, you get a punishment in this life of in the next. If something awful just happened to you, you might have done the same thing to someone in the previous life, and of course, because you don't remember that, you blame life itself. The whole point of this is spiritual evolving. Just think that every good thing that happens is because you were good too. If you accept these bad things that happen according to this theory, you may be able to take them easily. No use getting angry on life; If you can't beat them, join them!

Define "fair." In asking a question like this, you assume a common definition. As with every concept and construct, however, each person will have their own idea of what it means. Look at the range of answers you have received so far. Until you can objectively define what you mean by "fair," your question cannot be definitively answered.

Life is never fair! Things happen for a reason in life. You never get something throwning your way in live if they dont think you will cope with it!
Life is also fair if you make it fair!

Life is a box of chocolates.
It can be as fair as you make it. If you choose to roll with the punches and adapt and overcome....life can become fair.
It's all perspective....theres allways different ways to look at every situation. Once you realize that your not the offical authority on the fairness of life...you'll realize that life can be as fair as you make it.

I don't think that life understands concepts of fairness. I doubt that there is a universal agreement on what constitutes fairness.

why should it be fair? Life is what you make of it. If you constantly feel put upon, then you probably will be.

The only people who feel that life isn't fair are generally those who see themselves as victoms, whether they are or not. Such people should stop regarding themselves as victoms, and go out and try and achieve what they want, which should be to be happy...
