The knowledge that all is right with the world (a world in harmony with the Creator who made it and all in it). There cannot be any among us who lacks awareness that things are very very wrong. Some see it in the weather. Some see it in the tremendous power of false gods to create hell on earth through humans obsessed by wrongness. Some see it in violent weather conditions suddenly causing people to be dead and property to be in total ruin. Some see it in evil judges and courts gone wrong. Some see it in criminally bent children.

Romantic love.

I have a need for that sort of intimacy more than I need my friendships. I love my friends but I can go a couple of weeks without seeing them. I need to see my boyfriend every day. I physically need him. I ache when I'm not with him. He feels the same way about me. He's my soulmate. We knew it the moment we met. We were drawn together. It's irresistible. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

what i value more than a *really good* friendship, not much-- yet how many really good friendships do i have, not that many. so each one would have to be measured against whatever it was being traded for, individually.
