Philosophy - October 2006

How much money, or what kind of lifestyle denotes a rich person. I just mean affluence, not in terms of happiness or love or spirituality. Does a rich person just have no worries about bills, or do they have to have endless extravagance to be called rich in your opinion?

It's hard to understand why many people believe something called God created them - yet don't question what created God - or believe that something called God "always was" and then reject the idea that they might have "always been"....How can anyone believe that humans with their Gods are so important when they are such a small piece of the universal puzzle? I find it interesting but somewhat silly.

its possible to extract gas from the earth by drilling for oil, and burning off the gases. would it be possible to burn off the co2 by drilling without further harming the ozone.
