I think "dirt" is a more general term as to say you say "my car/floor is dirty"(which may or may not be "dirty" as a result of soil) ...Soil is suppossed to be "clean" actually I mean we want clean stuff to grow our crops in right/?

"Soil" is just a higher vocabulary word for "dirt" --all in the same but a big difference when used. I earned an Ornamental Horticulture AS degree and we were taught to call it soil. To sound more intelligent, you call it "soil." And, that is what the farmers call it too, not dirt. Dirt is what you get on your clothes, soil is what plants grow in.

I really don't like the sound of like having sex in soil, because it sounds wet and my hair can get really like dirty or something, but dirt sounds like dry or whatever and I'm totally down to have sex/ or give head in dirt.
