This is a great Question, many have asked it, and none have been able to come up with an answer except one.
It is for you to become GOD! Intriguing answer yes?
Why you say. Because it was God's purpose all along for man to become as he is. To be his child. In addition, if one is a child of someone then they are but a part of them whom is of them whom is they.
(1Jo 4:4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
NOTE: YE (YOU) are of God, little children. Also
Note: He that is in you is Jesus and he that is in the world is Satan.
(Mat 5:9) Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. And
(Rom 8:16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
(Rom 8:21) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
(Gal 3:26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
And if a man be turned into God then he will have all the rights and powers of God so in this life you learn how to use the power and riley on the Parent Father Almighty Father of Jesus and Creator of all things.

Read you bible and he will reveal it to you.
Study well. Learn to believe and make it happen.
Peace be with you

The purpose of human life can be individual due to the goals of that person. If they are limited to material possessions and consumed by this life then they will consider the purpose of human life to make life easier for as long as we live.

If the person lives in closer family environment then they will note that the purpose of life is to benefit others and take care of people (specifically those with whom they have some type of relationship).

A man of religion will consider the purpose of this life to exist as the Creator had intended and obey the guidlines which have been set in their religion in order to achieve the higher purpose and prepare for the next life.

Any one person can have an equally strong opinion about the purpose of humans and our goals.
So how do we validate their opinion as worth more than someone elses?

Perhaps we should consider which life lived will be for the greater benefit of the continuance of our race?

This seems to be a goal of most people, to obtain a state of peace (even terrorism can seek peace although via a flawed logic ie. an end to conflict in their country). This peace should be a balance of what is wise for the human race as well what is wise for yourself.

Although despite coming to a conclusion in this question we could expect that any ideal would not be followed by all and that we would remain different and complex at all times.

Hi Lewis M--you certainly opened the floodgate on that one. It's a question I'd never ask, because I don't believe there is a "purpose," & there's no absolute goal for humans. Just a human being human, in his/her unique way. (I've often wondered why people use the verb "being" after human--i.e., a human being would, a human being should, blah blah--a human BEING WHAT?) Don't mind me--I'm getting tired.

If we are the fabricated from evolutionary techniques as Mr. Dawkins believes, then logically there is not any 'purpose' to existence; we are the outcome of a risk sequence of activities, no longer some thing extra. the perfect we as people can do is muddle through existence eking out somewhat happiness right here and there, transforming into previous and death. Our obsession with purpose is futile. that would want to look nihilistic even with the indisputable fact that that's authentic. preserving an open options about the in elementary words option, really that we are the fabricated from a author, is the in elementary words thanks to familiarize your self with the challenge of why we conflict to locate intending to our lives.

This is way heavy.
I have to think about the purpose of human life for a second.

I'd have to say our goal so far has been to phuck up the environment so badly that other species no longer exist...

Could we be next?

God created human, and made humans to have dominion over every creatures that exist on earth. Our goal as humans is for we to produce and be fruitful on earth, but some people misuse any opportunity that they see. Computers are programmed but humans are not. We are like God but our ways are not the ways of God.

I believe that it differs for every human. Living (in and of itself) is the means to an end that we will only become aware of when we get there. The whole point is to take the journey in stride and learn all along the way...you never know what might be awaiting you at the end.

The purpose of human life is for a human being to be a person within a community of people.

by person I mean: creative, rational, emotional, accepted and accepting, loved and loving, valued and valuing things.

someone once said "I think therefore I am" I prefer to say "I am, therefore I value things"

So far I have not found any goal apart from reproduction and general health and well being. Perhaps as human being thinks himself as intelligent it must be some thing more than just this.

Your life has a divine purpose. God, your Heavenly Father, has prepared a marvelous plan for your happiness. When you realize that God has a plan for you, it is easier to understand why you are on this earth. God wants all of His children to progress and become more like Him. This time on Earth provides opportunities for you to grow and progress. Coming here allows you to:
· Receive a physical body.
· Exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil.
· Learn and gain experience that will help you become more like your Heavenly Father.
By following our Heavenly Father’s plan, you—like all of His children—can someday return to live with Him and with your loved ones. You can have greater peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come.
