Great question! All of my relationships seem to be the rollercoaster type, so I guess that's what I like, or at least what I attract or create for myself. I guess it depends on your temperament and life philosophy - live a temporary fairy tale, or a permanent rerun.

Don't really understand the question that much. But I like a warm friendly relationship with the man I love. We have been married 45 years and he is in there watching tiger woods play golf and I am in here playing with the computer.
We are both retiried and we get up and eat breakfast together.
I clean house he takes care of the out side and feeding the animals. In the evening we do different things. But we are always there for each other. I guess safe, loving , comfortable.

Call me boring, a couple girls have, but I think a consistent relationship built on mutual understanding is preferable to the extremes of more passionate relationships. I'm just not a very emotional guy and don't need constant excitement to be content. The problem seems to be that the girls I like who share some of my traits often don't think like me and seek guys that are more exciting to add some spice to their lives. And for some reason, spastically emotional girls like me, I guess because they see me as someone who could add stability to their lives. But I usually just find them annoying. So I am alone.

well i can tell you that right now in the relationship that ive been in for four years i have felt extreme joy and happiness. but now all i can feel is extreme sorrow and pain. and its hard to deal with. i wished all i felt was that extreme happiness i once felt... but i guess i have to have that pain too. its what happens when you love somebody too much i guess. i like what i had in the beginning when it was great and sweet, like how guys just romance you u know, that went on for 3 years. and then this last year has been complete crap, i just wish it was comfortable and new again.

That would depend on your own personality. If I were to graph my moods and feelings - say 50 points above or below mid line as the maximum - my highs and lows would be in the 40 range. My mate never fluctuates over the 10 range. He is in no way boring and he is not a door stop - he just doesn't get fired up over stuff. Guess I like his calm and he likes my excitement. He doesn't have to put any effort into entertaining and I can depend on him for stability. I wouldn't like to live with someone like myself - I would wear me out.

I guess i would like to have a relationship that is exciting as well as comfortable. Being comfortable around your partner is probably one of the most important things in having a good relationship, you should be able to tell your partner anything and trust yor partner completely. As of excitement, everybody needs a litttle fun and excitement in the lives and realtionships ;)

The best relationship has some of all those elements, except for scary. It should also have a big dose of friendship and respect thrown in.

False dilemma. You are presuming that relationships are one or the other. In addition, you are assuming that relationships do not change. Do you want an exciting, safe, relationship? Work with your partner to create it. Be the relationship that you want.

i like storms, they are lots relaxing, however the rain must be HEAVY, and there ought to be thunder and lightning and it may be... interior the overdue evening, around 5-10ish. i like going outdoors and working around interior the rain, i understand it sounds infantile in spite of if it is lots relaxing. i like while it is going to become floods as properly. the hearth alarm went off in my college as quickly as throughout a torrential downpour/thunderstorm, lightning struck some pole element or in spite of, and we've been outdoors for style of an hour and a a million/2 and the water went previous our ankles and we've been all kicking water at one yet another (like it mattered at that element besides) and dancing and working around and having relaxing, this is unquestionably one of my popular extreme college thoughts. =)
