Is there really any person who is a true atheist? I mean, an atheist makes the statement, "There is no God." But this is an absolute statement, and the only way one can answer an absolute statement is with absolute knowledge. No man has absolute knowledge so no man can really make an absolute statement correctly.

Of coarse I could be wrong about no man having absolute knowledge becaue I don't know everyone. If you do have absolute knowledge, could you let me know, I have a lot of questions for you.

Aside from all that, in answering this question, please remain polite, both to me and one another, no name calling. I am just curious as to who out there really believes they are a true atheist and how those who call themselves atheists answer this particular dilemna.

Does atheism arise from vanity or vainglorious self-pride?

Does theism arise from gullibility or unawareness?

What are the roots of these cults?

Do you? Are you author of a theory about something?

I ask this for you because I've some.

I do have some.

Tell us about it, if you have or not and about what is it/them about.

One of mine is named, in Portuguese, "Teoria das dimensões influenciadoras na determinação dos indivíduos em suas relações sociais".

If so do the experimental subjects in Milgram's experiment have a good reason to continue with the experiment after the person behind the wall asks them to stop.
Another question is taking a logic class at a university like being a subject in Milgram's experiment. Is a professor like the person conducting the experiment.

My son who is in kindergarten came home with his "wish list" of books he saw at a school book fair. These books are all priced higher then they are at the store because the extra is going to buy new books for the school library.
Where I question the ethics is that my son thinks these are the books he is getting, not simply asking for. So either I have to buy these books or feel guilty about disappointing my son.
Do the people that plan this ever acknowledge this is the tactic they are using or do they justify it somehow?

one or more... your own or written by someone else... the best gets 10 point :D
Mine is: "God save me from my friends, from my enemies I will defend myself" or "Respect everything and everyone who passes you by... one day they won't be there anymore".

Why is it when one moment you are really into something, and the next moment you lose interest in it even though deep in your brain and heart you are still thinking about it??

Do God, gods, spirits, saints and other unseen forces still have a serious role in anybody's life? these things used to be taken as seriously as life and death-people wouldn't point or look too long at one another for fear of accidentally cursing them, and blasphemy was punished worse than any crime on the planet. No one dared offend spirits and if you spilled salt you always threw a pinch over your left shoulder. Daemons were real and feared and people actually maintained a standard of behavior in order to avoid their wrath. Now witches are just free spirited people, and God exists as an excuse to talk to ourselves. What few people really take their religion seriously seem impractical and annoying to the rest of us. Have we lost magick in the world today?

I dreamt I was going fishing with my lover’s father, they had given my own fishing pole and was preparing to leave when I went outside only to find they had left me. Suddenly a dog from a cross the street came running and barking at me and knocked me down, I yelled angrily at the dog and told him to go home (it was a mutt, gray and white) suddenly from behind me a miniature?? Golden retriever came running to protect me.
Dream #2 I was shopping for groceries at target (even though they don’t sell groceries here, maybe i was predicting a super target LOL) anyhow, I was checking out with my groceries and the bagger had given me the wrong cart, only to discover this at another store (I don’t know why I brought my groceries into another store) I discovered this by observing orange soda, I only buy Dr. Pepper, and a different beer. I became angry and went back to target only to be hassled about renewing my groceries, the guy taking care of me was in good spirits but had other priorities....

I lost off from my finger, or possibly took off my diamond engagement ring almost 6 mo's. ago. I recall thinking about taking it off my left hand and putting it on my right hand because it was somewhat big and my hands seemed to be cold that day and it was bothering me, sliding around on my finger. However; sometime later that day, I realized I didn't have it on either hand and as of yet have still not found it. I'm wondering if a hypnotyst would be able to take me back and be able to discover if I indeed took it off and if so, where I may have put it. Any opinions????
