If so do the experimental subjects in Milgram's experiment have a good reason to continue with the experiment after the person behind the wall asks them to stop.
Another question is taking a logic class at a university like being a subject in Milgram's experiment. Is a professor like the person conducting the experiment.

Its all about authority..If the person behind the wall keeps telling them to stop but the person supervising it tells them to keep going they feel like the supervisor knows what they are doing so they continue. Many of the people in the experiment would ask if they would be responsible if anything happened to the person being electrocuted and the supervisor assured them that they would not, so they would continue. The listen to the person they feel is in charge, the people that chose to stop know it is wrong no matter who tells them it is right. Any person can be the person conducting the experience, as long as they follow the guidelines. You should watch the video on it, its pretty amazing.

Interesting. I would say that the subjects have an ethical obligation to stop when the person behind the wall asks them too. On the other hand the experiment showed that we have a strong tendency to follow authority blindly. So it is understandable why people didn't stop. But I believe that morally speaking they should have stopped.

They have this innate human desire to listen to authority. He did a series of studies, actually. When the authority figure was more physically distant, the greater the resistance. Same thing with having one or more people also refuse.
