Well, as the old saying goes, consistency is the hallmark of a small mind...

Personally I would hold that war can be justified so long as the negative effects of not going to war outweigh the negative effects of the war itself. For example letting Hitler conquer half the world was worse than the very large number of deaths that resulted from fighting him in the grand scheme of things. My $0.02.

Yes because sometimes war can be used to save life although it is destrying it at the same time
