Who is the person you look up to, strive to be, look to for advice, try to model your life after? Who is your hero?

Mine would be my sister and brother, both very successful in life and love.

O what sins are imparted unto moral mortal flesh as this.
To want and love and lust such revlar'y.
In as few, these words, like rage of ages coursing.
From the flow of corruption a river 'cross the desert but would one still not drink?

How does a person go from the notion of super speed technology on an alien, if we suppose aliens exist (and from enough distance to arguably need super speed technology), space ship, and also presume their life spans necessitated such an invention, to presuming aliens have super weapons, a million ships, and can manipulate any number of physical laws?

For b to follow a in this case, b must be inherently derived from a. A giant lasor cannon might be advanced by super speed technology, but it's not a consequences necessitated by super speed design, but that design would necessitate the need for structural rigidity and heat and friction resistance; any number of things needed to prevent damage due to the tremendous forces placed on an object moving at high speed.

The only apparent thing shared with super speed and the cannon is that would both need advanced ability and knowledge.

Am I wrong?

Do you think goverments and worldleaders, in the future -lets say 100 years from now, will look back at our time, as a time where the world was runned by stupid worldleaders who not had brain enough to take care the world, regarding wars, polution etc.??

I can also imagine a mother say to her son, that "back in time there was tigers and leons, but the people at that time dont care the nature, so thats why they dont exist today"

what you think?

if i am not watching TV, eating, listening to music, being on my PC, meditating, sleeping, talking on the phone, and anything else that would engage my attention, give me gratification, what am i left with?

What is it to be human when all the external is taken away and when the engagement into everything is removed? When I dont define myself by what is around me and what i am doing?

All this from getting rid of my TV, TV occupied me at times like this!

We know the physics of this world, which consists of electrons, neutrons, protons, and other elementary particles. Well I don't feel anything except what my body senses. That includes other people, animals, the Sun, stars, and everything else. All of my feelings come from this body. What is so special about this piece of matter? How can you connect the concept of elementary particles which can not feel anything obviously to the concept of human life? What is the magic? Why life is so special? Where does it come from? Maybe everything else is alive, too? Can it happen that the universe itself is alive "by design"?

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last sylable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle.
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
