No the UK is not part of the Freemasons although the Freemasons are part of the UK. Freemasonry is hardly secret anymore. There are thousands of sites on the web which have information. Why be concerned that some things are secret. Does secrecy always mean something bad is going on? If someone wanted to know ever facet of your life, all the mistakes that you've made all the times that you haven't been quite as nice as you should and details of your finances, relatives and relations, the political party you support etc. etc. would you disclose everything upon pain of being branded a degenerate? Would that be fair?

If we knew how many, there wouldn't be any, because to be secret is to be unknown and conversely if we know about them they are not secret.
