You didn't say you still had your own memories... SO, that said.. you would NOT know that you became someone else. In essense, you have been.. completely that other person as if you have ALWAYS been the other person. A person IS who they are because of the sum of their memories. If all you remember is the other person's memories.. then you are that other person and as far you know, always have been.

People around you will know ahead of you becoming someone else. As their wonderings and suspicions come to be seemingly true then by that time they will be taking about you and may confront you which will give you the realization that you are not the same as you as you suddenly became someone else.

Well, if it happens... it should mean that there is NO EFFECT. There is no point to the question. You would not want to know who's the real YOU by that time.. Same as with the other person whom you exchanged body with.
