I believe there is one moment in everyone's life when we truly mature. One moment of all importance but none at the same time, that we can recognize as when we BECAME who we are today. I would say this one moment was when I was on the phone with my boyfriend, and we were discussing another friend moving, how we were all going along separately, how life went by too fast. I looked out the window and saw two clouds parting, and thought about how that is like life. I started to tear up and I truly changed. I had a sense of that day possibly being my last, I prayed to God, I was finally aware of time's passing. How unfair life was, but great at the same time. I wanted things to stay as they are, but I want to move on and do great things. It was monumental to me, and I wrote a poem called "Remember" (see my Q&A if you would like to read it.) What was your "maturity moment"?

i believe that he is everywhere, he is the most powerful and i believe that he has created everything. but i dont believe that he is kind, if you want something from a mankind, even the most crual one, after 2 years demands, for sure he/she will accept it, but god, isn't so. i just have 1 wish in my life, and god never wanted to make me happy by accepting it. so how god is kind?

There were lots of times where I wanted to cry while watching a movie such as Titanic and The Notebook. Should a man cry?

I always forced myself not to shed tears when I wanted to because people say a man never cry and I always do what is best for me not what I really wanted. Is it too late to turn back?

...because i have always believed in both.
Are there any valid arguments out there that says these two beliefs cannot co-exist?
Id love to know your opinions.

I have come to the conclusion everything I do is searching for the truth. I probe others, ask questions, look others in the eye for answers, and my hobbies are temporary distractions from my brain that never turns off this philosophical question.

Instead of just locking prisoners up, whyd ont we educate them. Make them decide what they want to do with their lives when they get out, then put them in an education program so they can pursue that career. I think that this would be a much more effective way of bettering society then just throwing them behind bars. I think, but I am not sure, that the percentage is 85% or prisoners return to prison when they get out.

ITS ME AGAIN! bongydude The example below is just one strand of my thinking.

You would agree that cancer is a debilitating desease o.k?. You would agree that people die from it? but the cancer 'bug' is a perfect organism designed to kill. It is there, it exists, IT MUST BE ...IN ITSELF... PERFECT.
The result of cancer is horrible but surely, it is what we would expect to happen?
Therefor cancer is perfect at what it does and the result must be perfect too. That is what cancer is! (perfect imperfection?)
This thinking can be applied to every mortal thing that exists and every 'damn' hing that anyone has ever done.
