God is a proper name and starts with a capital "G".

I don't believe in God, but I think I understand at least in part what he's supposed to be about. You have to think parental when thinking about God.

If a kid came rushing in half an hour before dinner and said he wanted sweets, the good parent would tell him no, because it would ruin his appetite. Sweets will not make the kid grow straight and strong. A healthy, balanced and nutritious dinner will make the kid grow straight and strong. The good parent doesn't let a kid fill up on junk then push away what is good for him.

From the kids point of view, the parent must seem terribly unkind in not letting him have his way. But any decent parent will know so much better.

Sometimes it isn't giving people what they want that is kind, and it isn't refusing to give them what they want that is cruel.

Sometimes, people have to look past themselves and take in the bigger picture.

That's the problem in believing in a god that responds to or meddles in the daily affairs of each and every one of 6 billion of us. I think that you might find more peace in the idea that we are all part of a natural universe, which may or may not be created by a higher power as you wish, and live according to the parameters of that universe.

Sometimes we think we know what is best for ourselves, but God has a plan for your life. That is why our every wish is not his command. Maybe it's not the right time in your life for something to happen...at least you think it is. Only God knows what's best & the right timing. That's why He is kind...He's not a jeannie to make all your wishes come true. God helps those who help themselves. Maybe you should explore this a little more. Pray to Him don't tell him what you want done & when. Ask for help from Him & to show you the path to take to get to what you want.

GOD loves you and HE is kind. HE has given you so many things in life that you fail to see the importance. Eg: see how easy you are breathing...imagine if HE is cruel and takes that away from you?? you definately need machines around you to help you breathing. Whatever that you wished for, you think that GOD is not giving it you..maybe u've been asking for years! BUT GOD gives you when HE thinks it is appropriate for you. HE might challenge your patience..but hey!! look...you have other things that you are gifted where other people do not have! think about it.

God is ur friend.
God loves u and wants u to do the same. as u said all u have is given by God. Remember God is testing u. So, do not make God unkind just because of ur earthy dream.

It would be lovely if God granted wishes but unfortunately he doesnt...I wish you all the best...I just wish the ones with all the power in this world.......people...would be more like the ideals of the Gods they serve...which is mostly good!

What god?, or God.
It depends to whom you are asking.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you may say that you are a Child of God. But if not, how could you expect to have answers?

Besides you have to learn how Thy may answer to your needs, and if it is God's will, will happened, if not, not. Also sometimes Thy take time enough just to see if you will be grateful to Him.

But faith, is the main ingredient.

If Jesus died for us, why to think Thy is not enough kind?

Agreed. The Problem of Evil, as it's called, proves that either God is not omnipotent or he is not omnibenevolent.

Not that I believe in God anyway.
