Man, the Universe or God?

The fact that a fly flies away to avoid being crushed shows a fear of death , and a love of life, the desire for happiness...How can it be that any other life form , no matter how small or large , could be any less valuable than any other? How do you feel , what are your thoughts? How do you deal with the guilt? Is there karma to be expected?

The Civil War like most wars was fought over money and power. The South got sick of the North putting unjust tariffs (tax) on good and treating the south like a second class citizen. Sound familiar? Not trying to be offensive, but no war has been fought over human rights. All wars come down to one of two things MONEY and POWER. With Power comes MONEY. I'm just sick of hearing people spit out garbage like it's the truth. Do we spin the truth to put a pretty face on WAR or do we honestly now believe it to be the truth? When we forget the truth of history we condemn our future. Your thought’s please…

i've never kicked a guy in the nuts. ever. i recently found out that my daughter has. we had a talk about when it's appropriate to do something like that, but sad as it is to say, i became a little jealous. even sadder, i though about how when i go out with my freinds, there are certain guys i could certainly do it to and nobody would blame me in the least (i'm a little chunky, so certain guys feel free to be crude and act like they're doing me the favor). i feel pathetic for thinking it, yet ever so tempted.

If you are an atheist you would have to admit that there is a vast amount of information that you have never perceieved. Based on this it would be illogical to suggest that there is not God just because you have not seen one. Have you seen the moon slowly gravitate away from earth? Yet you assume that it's true based on calculations. What I say here is that there are many avenues so to speak that we have never gathered the possibile information on. Is it possible for you to not know of God unless you were God? I don't understand how an Atheist can say their belief is logical. I understand an agnostic view where they believe there is no way to know if there is a god or not. Please let me understand how atheism is logical.
Thanks

Suppose there was a plane flying carrying 6 people. The pilot had a sudden heart attack, leaving only the 5 passengers left. However, ONLY 3 passengers would survive the crash completely unharmed, while the other 2 died. This decision of who lived & who died is yours. Among the 5 people:

One is an ex-murderer who had since turned his life around & became a popular activist for helping to reform other criminals.

One is a single mother of 3 kids who had been on her way home from an out-of-state job interview to support her kids while a friend watched her kids for her.

One is a retired old doctor who had been traveling the world to low income places and providing free medical aid, saving numerous lives.

One is a 15-year-old girl who was on her way to stay the week with her grandparents.

And the last passenger is a blind woman who had became a political voice for equal rights among the disabled.

If you had to pick who lived & who died, who would it be? Think! Tell me why?

What's the term used for the following?
When you decide to eat a different meal instead of your usual, or go to work on a different route to your usual, just to get a different perpective on things, to get different stimuli, to do things you wouldn't normally do, to see things differently.
Above are just examples. Is there a term or saying/phrase for doing it?

That people expect to be compensated highly for their work, however when they make a purchases, it is usually the lowest cost that wins their favor...is this why businesses tend to use the cheapest labor with the least amount of benefits?
