I know karma means (or think it means) that if you do something good you'll get something good in return and vice versa...I was just wondering it feels like I've been having a really bad 3 weeks, nothing good at all about it- if my bad times should be done with soon and then happiness can start again? Or are there no 'laws' that say if you've had bad times, you're sure to get good times?

Most of us are morally ambiguous. We don't vary to far from the center.

But for those few individuals who are EXTREMELY Evil or Good....do you think they are capable of acts that would be the polar opposite of thier normal behavior????

The gas/convenience store that I frequent has a tray near the register. There is a note above the tray which reads 'take a penny - give a penny'. If someone takes a penny from the tray, is that person ethically obligated to give a penny back to tray at some point? Is it ethical to take a penny even if you don't need it at that moment, but think you will need it later? The tray occasionally contains dimes or nickles. Since the note doesn't mention those coins at all, can those be taken without an ethical obligation to return like coins to the tray in the future? If someone needs a penny but doesn't take one, have they contributed to the tray in any way?

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
"Jack, did you hear me?"
"Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him.. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.
"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing.. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.
"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.

Most of the wars in history was done by so called "Western societies". Yet we call ourselves civilized. Why? How civilized are we? In our country, people were enslaved, segregated: blacks; almost wiped out: Native Americans; excluded based on race: Chinese exclusion act. We have had so many wars and internal strife, as well as other nations. Are we civilized or barbaric?

When the thousand-year rule of Christ ends on earth, Satan will be released to deceive man again.
Hindson states there are those who still haven’t accepted Christ. If so, how did they get to be with Christ during his 1000 year rule on earth, or are they the ones who are born during that time frame.
