Both.
Use your head to guard your heart; use your heart to soften harsh logic.
Balance in everything.

I believe that it is the heart working with the brain that makes the best decision. Our brains can be divided into two parts, the logical or rational one and the emotional one. People tend to call the emotional part the heart and the rational the brain. This is what I believe that unless you don't use both of these together you wont be able to make a right decision. The heart is the seat of our past experiences. Its our intuition and thus it is capable of picking up subtle patterns which our rational brains would miss, hence we need to have both of them working together to make the best decisions.

I say the heart. Yes the brain can think things through logically, but just because it can do that doesn't mean it will lead you to the best decision. I say follow your heart.

I'd tell you the brain. My girlfreind would tell you the heart.
If I really think about it, I guess it depends on the question. If you want to save hundreds of people, you either grab a hose, or call the people with the biggest hose. You can Grab the hose to save people... That way you know you tried (Heart).
Then again, if you know you love someone but it wouldn't work for whatever reason, yet your heart says "Overruled"... *shrug*. (I'm bad in the love field anyway).
It depends... what does it mean to be right? to be logically correct, or to feel like it's correct?
-----
Sidenote: My best friend tells me I understand her because I know nothing she says needs to make sense, so long as the answer feels right to her at the time. I suppose that's similar... You tell me if that's right! =p
...I've heard men tend to be logical, linear thinkers, while women are more wholistic in their approach. (Since women have more complete DNA... perhaps you're the more complete sex, and you know better than we do. In which case, we ceed to you) =D
Wow, that was a lot of extra stuff you didn't ask for. ...Just something to think about when you're home alone and the tv is broken.

There always has to be a balance between the heart and the mind.
A person who rules with his heart may seem impractical to others.
A person who rules with his mind would seem incosiderate to people.
To make good decisions, one must find the "in between" be considerate of others, at the same time be practical.

Is it reason or is it passion? I would have to say it would all depend upon the situation. I would say the brain but sometimes your head should listen to what your heart has to say from time to time..

The brain. My best thinking occurs when I separate how I feel about something from the facts.

The heart. It may not always be the right answer, but it's the best one.
