A stranger came up to me and said:

"Excuse me ma'am, I needn't any money, I have some in my wallet. But I have sleep problems though, and I was wondering if you would pray for me tonight so that I could fall asleep?"

To which I kind of baffled an "ok"

He then said " thank you ma'am, my name is John, and I really appreciate your prayer"

Thanked me for my time and was on his way.

What do you think about this??? Is it weird, that I don't usually pray but have found myself periodically asking God to let John sleep tonight?

You have 10 candles in a row. You light the first candle, and use that to light the second one. Blow out the first candle, and use the second to light the third. Blow out the second candle. Continue till you reach the tenth candle...Is the flame the same as the first candle??? ........... I posted this a while ago but damn, dudes I ain't a philosopher, but this is just a philosophy question, and after i posted this extra detailed info I see I got no response. Not science question lol. I am just looking for a philosophical answer. This was posed to me by a professor back in 98 or so. There is no real right or wrong answer but mine was something like this...the essense of the flame is the same as the first, it has transformed itself but going thru many different lives, it was reborn and died reborn and died and so on....the last candle would have the life force of the first but would in itself be a new entity... I lose 5pts for reposting. Oh well :))

There is a girl whom I love, but never tell directly as she works in my office. But she knows there is someonw I love very much. Then I fell sick and knowing that I was sick she dint call me, but sent an SMS, since I was little dissapointed. Even in the office she dint come to me, but sent an email asking about my health. I was upset I sent her an sms that thanks for asking I am fine. ovewr which she asked ...why this attitude. Then we had a general conversation..and she sms me ..why u expect so much from peopla, they r not as gud n helping as you are...over which I wrote ...now i will not expect anything from anyonw.but, may i ask what did I expect. except 2 words that I am loved and needed? don't i deserve that much? At which she called what does this mean, doe to my shy nature and not letting her hurt by telling her that i loved her, i lied that I was upsat that no body enquired about my healt while I used to do so much for people...then things like that.

internet protocal television(cable, or regular tv over the internet, without any hook up), and Voip(voice over internet protocal, or phone over the internet), what do you think about them? what do you think will be the furture of them? How will they will affect us? what do you think will be the next thing that will be internet based(I personally have a hunch that computers themselves will be over the internet, meaning the storage, and software will be deliverd to your monitor via the internet, without wasting desktop space with the towers, and finger print protected)?
