A characteristic is an expression of your character, like smiling and nodding at people on the street all the time. A feeling is feeling happy about expressing that characteristic, like you may've made someones day.

I think a characteristic is the way we tend to handle our feelings. Feelings are passing and characteristics tend to be more concrete. A characteristic can be a tendency towards having certain feelings more often though. I think you can change your characterics by learning how to change the way you deal with your feelings. Sorry if I'm rambling.

a feeling can change more quickly than a characteristic.
Like someone can feel happy like just in that moment or someone can be a happy person (this is generally true of them all of the time). Hope that helps.

I think both can change but a characteristic is defined as something distinctive. It sets you apart from others. Something that is one of the many things that make you you. I think feelings are more changeable and relateable while a characteristic everyone else might not share but then that's true about feelings too. So idk

A characteristic is an inner feature of a person which determines certain qualities,
behaviors,actions & traits--arrogant,confident,
bold,shy,comical,etc...

A feeling is something one feels inside(emotions)--to care,have sorrow,feel cocky,feel loving towards someone,anger,etc...
Also,characteristics can be felt by one or the other and both.......

For example: a person can be outgoing, shy, an air-head, deep thinker, or big talker, etc. A feeling is how someone's character affects you. For example: if a person is outgoing, they may you feel good; if they are an air-head, they may make you feel impatient, and so forth.
