In order for your argument to hold (that worshiping a peice of paper written two thousand years ago with the listed condistions is wrong) you must first prove that:
1. The author(s) were less intelligent than you
2. That the author(s)' main purpose in writing the words on the peice of paper was to "control angry masses of poor people"
Then you must prove that those conditions disqualify the 2000 year old peice of paper from rightful worship.

Right, the bible was written back when life was much bleaker and people could die at any time, it's no wonder they have a "paradise up above". However these days those kind of beliefs are archaic and just plain stupid if you think about it. God creating the ENTIRE universe in just seven days? BS if you ask me but people have their beliefs.

Whats wrong with it is that its the truth.. truth can hurt! Wait.. what is truth? Ahh.. its in the eye of the beholder.. truth is whatever YOU believe it to be. And, reality sucks.. hense my disbelief in it.. Reality, belief, faith... all of it is a figment of our imagination. Its a societal suppressor to people living outside the box. If there wasnt some sort of order and suppression then we would live in chaos.. in fact, if there wasnt order then we wouldnt even be able to communicate our questions and answers. Yet, this peice of paper is one of our foundations to order and suppression of the abnormal thinkers.
