I'm thinking about hiring someone to make an arrangement of a song for a piano and a tuba since I've been unable to find anything to meet my needs on sheetmusicplus.com but how would you even go about in finding someone who would do a good job at it anyway?

I am writing an indoor routine for my winter guard. If youre not sure what winter guard is, its flags and rifles and dance, etc. The theme I am considering is a doll idea. But, its needs to be updated, and the girls on my guard would really like techno in the show. Do you have any ideas on how to make the costumes? Or any techno that you think I could get to work? Any feedback of any kind is appreciated. Thank you.

I'm writing a short story and I need your opinion of what the profession of the main character should be. He is 60 years old, he's worked in the same job for at least 30 years. He is very rich. It has to be an office-setting kind of job. When his kids were teens, he got them summer jobs at the office.
Any ideas?
Thanks

If you damaged your vocal cords, can they heal or will they stay like that forever? I think i might have a few months ago when i went to an amusement park and screamed very loudly on this one rollarcoaster. When i came off it, my throat was sore and i lost my voice. Would that have left permanent damage on my vocal chords?

(following on from "what makes a good singer?)

Again, rather than just say "lack of talent" try to explain what you mean (if you can) like "can't stay in tune", "poor range", "bad technique" "nasal sound" etc

For anyone who's interested I'm an amateur singer with several years experience and have considered maybe one day giving lessons (when I feel I have the confidence) but was just interested to hear people's opnions - its so common to hear people say "she is a fantastic singer" or "he's awful" without really going into WHY and I'm interested to know if faults can be corrected.

I am an aspiring entertainer.

Acting, Music, you name it.

My ambition sometimes outweighs my current ability, but I tend to be great at pressing on. I am mostly drawn torwards music; I simply love it more than most things. But, my singing ability, although I have noticed that I am improving, is not the greatest, or atleast I dont feel like it coincides with what I am picturing in my head.

So, my question is: Can you develop a better singing voice? And if so, what are some techniques/tips for doing this.

I've gotten over the wanting to have it over night and I am ready to work for it.

I have been watching Criss Angel's Mindfreak alot and had the urge to go to thee internet to figure out how he does his magic. I am finding references to a "gimmick" as a piece of wearable equipment for levitation, but no explanation of how it works, without paying for a costly manual. can anyone briefly explain what a "gimmick" is, and how it works?
