What SIN did you want to commit in front of the large crowd?

Just look on top of people's heads.
I say the best thing to do when performing..is to practice your music a lot. Look in front of a mirror and sing your butt out!!
Then when the time comes..it will be like nothing.
Think of a happy place...Don't close your eyes!!
The more you perform the better and more comfortable you'll feel.
Keep singing in front of your friends and family.. that's good too!!

to get over my stage fright i went to a local mall or to a park or beach with my friends and we would all sing together and then take turns. people are always coming and going and don't really pay attention...also, open mic nights at local coffee houses are great because they are smaller crowds. also instead of looking at the audience, look above them so you don't actually see their faces, but to them it looks like you are looking at them. hope this helps.

when you feel the song so much.. you wont think about stage fright or anything. jst feel and imagine there's no one there. its your show. when you are nervous, your vocal chords will contract, and you will find it hard to make certain notes constant. drink warm water before you sing.

to overcome stage fright, look at the audience and talk .. dun say you are nervous, say your name, the song that you are gonna sing... thank those who came..

good luck

i also LOOVE singing and have been in chorus and musicals etc since i was 3. do anything to get your mind off of the performace right before you sing...thinking about how scared you will be is the worst thing to do. loosen up and if you're backstage (where the crowd can't see you) jump around and get your heart pumpin...it may not help you but it really helps me to get my mind off it and just loosen up. and do fun warm ups like sirens (slowly sing the lowest note you can and go all the way up to the highest and back to lowest in one breath)

I've always heard to look at the tops of their heads, not into the eyes of anyone. When you look at the top of someone's head, it looks like you're making eye contact, but you're really not, and it might help you to be less shy that way.

yes... dont imagine the croud naked thats what eveyone says but it dosent help... you just look slightly above their heads and they will think your making eyecontact but it will let you concintrate on the words and not the reactions of the croud!
