I am in a chorus, and I am a bass. Many people have commented on how airy and unsupported my sound is. I do have a lower voice, but tend to use it rarely in the higher songs that the chorus is singing this year. How do I get my sound better from the current state it is in?

I've already tried those "chips" from the candy store that Pavarotti reportedly used. They don't work. Neither does water or "Throat Coat" tea or any lozenge I have ever used. Can anybody please help me? Only serious answers from those with experience, please.

There's a proliferative availability of hard disk drive digital portastudio devices, and also multitrack recording software for PC's and laptops nowadays.
With this in mind, is there really a need nowadays for bands and musicians to spend large sums of money booking studio time to record their tracks?
Are recording studios set to become a thing of the past?

Ok well i had my voice lesson yesterday and we worked on a lot. Like well my teacher taught me how to do cresendos, and its not easy. When she showed me how she did it, her voice like filled up the whole room during her cresendo. And mine didn't even fill half. Is there any way that you could tell me how to do it, like she said if I do it every day, it will help me out with my breathing, and that I will notice a differenace, and that it will strenth my vocal cords. Cresendos in voice are not easy to do. She also said that i still keep smiling when I sing, and well it prevents me fromg getting my moiuth to open widers, So if i dont smile, my mouth does open wider. So idk. PLease tell me tips to work on my cresendos. Thanks, and I appreacate the help!

This is a school singing production thing, and though I realise you need to know my voice, I 'd like to have some basic ideas of who has good, sort of 'showy' songs that I can (attempt) to sing and show off my *cough* good *cough* voice. So any ideas? I'd be most grateful.

I am 13. I have posted clips of me singing. They said I have a nice voice, but I should get a teacher to learn breath support and technique. I am have my first vocal Saturday. My piano teacher wanted to see where my voice was today she was playing around a low G. I have practice those notes at home and I can hit them correctly, but when I try to do it in front of someone, I do horribly. The only person I am unafraid of singing in front of is my brother but he has heard me singing forever. Do you have any advice? I don't want my vocal teacher to think I sound horrible when I don't.
