I don't know how to speak/sing in my head register. This will allow me to go higher without using falsetto. Could someone tell me how?

Our band was talking about the feelings you get from differetn scales and key signatures. Is it true that scales have colors and emothions? Is it also true that two composers wrote two books about it and disagreed on everything? Do you know where I could find copies of the books (if there are real)? I know most people think minor chords sound kind of eerie, to which I agree. I want information on major scales, but minor scales work , too.

I'd like to use 'I Dreamed a Dream as my audition song, but I don't know if it's proper for a singer like me. My range is, assuming middle C is C4, F2 (though I prefer not to sing so low as it rather strains my voice) to A5.

I have a Microtrack 24/96 by M-audio with a few cheap microphones, what sort of setup (on a budget) would be the best to pick up the ambience of a relatively quiet/isolated location?

Such as outside or where the ambience of a room is increadibly quiet.

I'm just wondering because since we all have a voice can't we all learn to sing well? Do you have to be born with a good voice? I can't sing worth a crap!! Neither can my parents -_-.

Hi, I'm playing Fantaisie Impromptu by Chopin for a recital, but the only problem is I tend to tighten up around the ends of the fast sections. Afterword, my right arm hurts. Beautiful music should not be painful! Any suggestions for staying loose?

I've heard that while you cannot really extend your vocal range, with training anyone can learn to sing very well in the range they do have. Is this true?

Or if you'd rather type it in yourself...

MySpace ID= theskyespectacular

I have posted up four songs. People ask me all the time "What kind of music do you play?" and to be honest, I don't know what the hell to tell them. Can someone please analyze my music styles to tell me just what genre I fall into?

I'm in seventh grade and am a soprano. My Voice teacher isn't exactly finding pieces I like (he doesn't exactly have the same personality as me) I'm looking for something meaningful but fun to do. Also, I go to a Christian school so no rock or pop or really anything modern (which already cuts out alot of good songs) an example of the type of song I'm looking for is Over the Rainbow.
Please help me, I only have 2 months until tryouts.

I am thinking about doing a Broadway themed bedroom. I have some show posters and playbills that I think I am going to frame and hang on a wall. I also was thinking about putting stage lights in the corners of the room and maybe get a mirror and put lights around it like the backstage of a theater. I also thought about painting the outline of a city skyline on a wall and maybe on the other walls have music notes. Do you have any other ideas that I overlooked? What do you think of stage curtains on the windows and possibly behind my bed. Please give me some more ideas! Thanks!
