ok i want to be an actress but I dont know how to get started...its my passion and I love doing it.I've been in christmas plays and things like that ,but I wanna do something more.Please help!

Take classes and get as much experiance as possible. Classes will help you shape your technique and teach you the proper dos and don'ts of acting. The more shows you have on a resume the better. After you have been doing this for a couple of years get some headshots and go on regional cattle call auditions. Of all the major metropolitain areas to start in, Chicago would probably be your easiest break into getting into something. They are also the most likely to help you get your SAG card. From there, work your way to bigger cities and hopefully you will blossom.

Hard to add much to what is here now... classes...community theatre groups. Also, go see plays and watch how the actors interact, try to get to where you can see how the ensemble interact. Not just the lead actors -- try to watch what people upstage are doing... bits of "business" between characters.... also, volunteer with a local community theatre; I firmly believe any performer should also spend time NOT acting. Volunteer to help with lighting... or costumes... or learn exactly what the stage manager does. I suggest also going to rehearsals that you are not called for... chances are great that you will learn something about your own chanracter & how characters -- and scenes -- relate to one another.
Also, don't ignore technical side of theatre... set design, lighting [a personal fave] and any other aspects of a production are as important as anyone involed in the show. Consider working somewhere in Crew, instead of acting, at least now and then.

Well I hear of a lot of acting camps that you could go to. You could also check on google. Alot of people get their acting jobs on google and small things. Just start to kinda tell your friends that you like acting maybe you will be known as the acting girl. Umm that is all i can really think of so I am so sorry if i didnt help.

I would say, start by finding some community theatres in your area, and begin auditioning for them. If you find the phone number for one of them, they will probably have the numbers for others as theatre is a fairly small circle. If you're looking for something bigger, look at colleges and universities tha have strong programs or look at netconline.org and setc.org. These are big auditions for hundreds of companies.

Audition (gosh I never get tired of saying that) Just keep on auditioning and eventually you'll get a role, it may not be a big one, and you may get quite a few rejection letters before you do actually get a role, but just keep trying and don't get descouraged.

depends on your age...
join a drama club at school, or join a community theater group.
Take drama classes.
volunteer for various jobs at local productions, and learn the business and make contacts.
Socialize with other actors, directors, and producers.
