May the new year bring blessings and wonders, peace and joy, and heartfelt contentment in all of your endeavors. I will be hoping this is the year the world takes a good look at itself and decides that the conscience is entirely underrated, and we all have it in our power to do the right thing. May God or if you don't believe in a deity, may you- find it in yourself to be a better example of who you want to be in 2008...

i've been playing for about a week but i'm still having problems in that my lips tire really quickly so i can't really play much of anything for too long.
I was thinking it might be my embrouchure.
Can someone help me with oboe embrouchure?

We have mentioned favorite all time cameras. I have had those big potato mashers like a Braun (with a ...was it 620 volt battery?) and the Metz is in the closet somewhere, but the Vivitar 283's were my favorites. Reasonably priced, reliable (except for the occasional foot) and easy to use. Boy do I wish Vivitar made an equivelent today for digital...and as econmical.

I don't have the time

But my eyes still tell the story

How can people bend their backs so much that they're pretty much a U? I understand people getting flexible by stretching and being able to do the splits and stuff. But the way some really flexible people bend their backs just seems so impossible. Like when I try it seems just as impossible as trying to get my knees to bend the other way.
