My New Year's Wish To you

To have sparkling dew on your roses
Every morning...
To have coffee or tea with...just the
Right amount of
Cream or/and sugar...

To find the snow not a burden, but
A fairyland...
And the icicles, glinting with sun's
Light, and dripping...drop, drop,
With music, lovely

Music. To have 'Ode to Joy'
Playing everywhere in your homes.
And to have you absolutely sure

This will be a very, very,
Good year....

Happy the New Year, Everyone! ! !

Elysabeth

That's all we really need. I can live without much "stuff," but never without music. Thank you for wishing everyone joy and the ability to see what may be a burden in a positive way. May all your dreams and wishes come true in the coming year.

This is a wonderful wish! Thank you! If you rephrase it, it will lose the spontaneous spirit in which you wrote it.

What a moment! A beautiful crisp breeze of a poem. I think I will read it again in the morning to start my year.

Thank You Dear Elysabeth.

Don't think many of us would enjoy the same Bach fugue twittering at us in every room endlessly. Like Blake's Tyger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyger%2C_Tyger, one learns to accept the rough with the smooth, appreciating the smooth perhaps better for the rough, if you get my meaning. Nevertheless, good wishes always gratefully received. Thanks and same to you.

I have the icicles and I have the music.
"Unchained Melody" is currently playing in the background.
My friends Roxxy, Sissy, and Liz are with me.
Come midnight here in Pine Ridge, there will be a "Band of wild angels Rockin' Heaven Down"...and that one will be for Sandy!

No better way to bring in the new year.
