I recently went to a club that played house music with a latin flavor and wasn't sure how to dance to it. The girls there were dancing what seemed like a combination of cuban salsa and rave moves. And the guys were doing something that looked like the robot, but not quite. Sorry, I'm not sure what that style is actually called. Also, when the dj let the music die down for a bit there was lots of clapping in the crowd.

I'd like to learn how to dance like the people at the club, but I don't have a background in dance and so I'm not sure what to pay attention to when watching other people dance. I'm not as interested in the robot type stuff as much as in the salsa/ rave style.

I do ballet regularly at an upper-Intermediate to Advanced level. Due to my work I'm forced to take my ballet classes at 9am now. I've done one so far and missed the rest. I'm never ready on time, or feel up to it at such an hour. My body seems less flexible than ever and I'm not as quick in picking exercises. Any suggestions? who takes classes this early? what do you do? do you have breakfast or skip it till after the class? Do you think it's healthy to do exercise first thing in the morning?

I'll try to discribe it as best as I can. First off, dressing in orange spandex biking shorts, with a neon green fish net tank top, with one blue and one purple wristband on each hand, yellow tube socks with white ked shoes on.. with a totally tubular eighty's hairstyle going on...mmkay..then the song that is playing, sanged by Celine Dion, "My heart will go on"... I started doing the pony like a rabbid rabbit and banging my totally awesome hair around and I didn't have a care in the world..

Do you dress up like this and dance like that also??..Do you think that it's like totally freaken awesome??

I bought some and they fit kinda tight on the hips.
I tried an earlier pair that fit perfectly, but they're kinda big on the pant and i was wondering if i might trip on them or since i'll probably be losing some flab(im pretty thin, just kinda got a small small tire) they might not stay up on their on but it hugs my hips perfectly.

any help would be great.

ive been taking ballet with my current teacher for about 2.5 years. the thing that drives me and my parents CRAZY is how she loves money and overcalculates everything. my parents current problem with her is that she promised to give me credit $ for the classes i missed during the summer if i agreed to take a total of 5 hours a week of ballet classes during each week in the summer. at first my mom didn't want to due to my busy schedule, but because the teacher promised to give us credit, mom agreed. i missed a total of TWO classes. to make things even more complicated she MISCALCULATED our tuition. so basically over the summer, i paid for 29 hours of classes, only went to 25 of them, and only got 2 classes of credit back. now my teacher says that she really did give back 4 hours worth of credit $ when she really didn't! shes really very stubborn... should i quit after this session? i have friends in that class but i supposed i can live w/out them? what do you think i should do?
