What surprises me the most on the REAL dance floor is people coming up with creative solutions to unexpected problems. Like when choreography gets disrupted unexpectedly by someone or somethings, but dancers find a creative way to incorporate the disruption into their dance.
Hmm, I guess what surprises me most out of your list is to see my male friends dance and move well. I usually expect that the least out of heavy guys. This is the most surpising, in a nice way.

What surprises me on the dance floor is when someone can sweep me off my feet and truly dance. I love a good salsa dance, but even graceful slow dancing can make my heart melt in an instant.

I live in a little redneck town in West Virginia. We don't have clubs in my town all we have are redneck bars. But we do dance.
I went out with a couple of girlfriends a while back and the DJ started playing Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall off and one of my girlfriends started taking her shirt off. she flashed the whole bar. Well when the song was over these other girls who were sitting at the bar , i guess got jealous and started calling her names and telling her to put her clothes back on. That was a very crazy night.

The biggest surprise I ever got on the dance floor was at my Junior/Senior prom when my girlfriend started taking off her clothes while dancing!!

In any salsa clubs - there are always some who can't dance yet dancing on the floor and bumping into people....

when all the drunk people got up and started line dancing to the song i like big butts.... actually it was more a good laugh...lol
