I bellydance and have been doing so for over a decade now. Your question will be difficult to answer since everyone has a move they struggle with for a long time even though others may seem to be doing the same move in a matter of minutes. It's different for everyone. Some moves just come easier to some people. For example I was able to do an undulation immediately after watching the instructor but several of my classmates were unable to really do one for another year. Others struggle with the 3/4 shimmy, vertical/reverse vertical figure eight, belly rolls or flutters. It's different for everyone. For me I found the airplane turn the most difficult because I would get so dizzy. I had to practice alot in order to acclimate my body to spinning. You can read through some of these descriptions at my site http://www.middleeasterndance.net if you would like to get any extra practice in supplemnt to your lessons. Sometimes it helps you to learn a move better if you use as many senses as you can when learning it. Watch your teacher, listen to her description, read a different description for a book or website, write your own description and of couse do it. All of these used together will help you to internalize the movement more. You might want to take this to bhuz http://www.bhuz.com and ask what other dancers thought was the most difficult move to learn when they were starting out. Bhuz is a bellydance forum so you will get a lot more responses than here. Also feel free to copntact me personally if you have any questions you would like answered.
