I took dance (tap, jazz, ballet and competition )as a child from when I was about 4 till I was 10...my mother made me quit because it became too expensive and also threw away all my things..shoes, costumes, etc. I really wish I still had them just for the memories, and something to show my kids later on in life. I am def too old to get back into dance but was considering buying dance shoes, just to have as keepsakes since I dont have my original shoes, and maybe be an inspiration for my kids when I have them. Anyone think this is stupid?

I certainly think it is. It looks silly and is pointless, so is more suited to girls.

We know the basic steps, but does the dance move around in a square, some other shape or does it remain relatively static? Does it move around the whole room or a smaller part of the room? My wife dances in her wheelchair. I dance standing.

I want to start ballet again and I'm 14... isn't that the age when ballet dancers are starting to "peak"? Do you also have to be a specific weight? Thanks for your tips or suggestions. Be honest.

Really? Do you have to be a good dancer at a club. Or just jump around? I'm pretty good with DDR. But I'm not a good freestyler.

I've never been to the ballet, so I'm not sure where I should be trying to sit. What is the difference between orchestra and 1st ring seating? The prices are the same. What about the other rings? Any opinions/advice?

This is for the nutracker at the State Theatre in Lincoln Center.

I am a dancer and I was wondering if this was normal for anyone or something like that...
Whenever I arch my foot it cramps up really bad and when I hold a position like that for too long It really hurts
Is there any way to make it so it goes away or stops hurting
