There's not much you can do unless your parents/guardians want to switch you to another school. Even then, the school administration only allows so much of that kind of transferring. It's probably best to talk to one of your school's Guidance Counselors about it. They might could help.

Cumbia is a type of dance. Check out the Wikipedia site:

A school's first priority is safety, then learning. Schools usually do whatever they have to to make a school safe. From locking all doors during the day to metal detectors and backpack checks. Chances are your school will have an assembly to talk about it if it really involves the school. Its good to be concerned. Talk to you're guidance counselor if this really affects you and scares you badly (you can't get your mind off of it, interferes with school work) Most of the time these things pass. The incidents shouldn't be forgotten or ignored, but things will go back to normal after a while (if any thing changes at all) Give it another month or two before you decide whether or not to change schools to see if things calm down.

"La Cumbia" means "The Cumbia" It's a spanish dance

Get over the stress and shock. Any other school (is it so difficult to spell?) is not any better. It can happen anywhere. Fear is bad.
