Of course. Every dance from changes over years, even classical ballet. There are always new trends, always new currents. Technique is getting more and more polished, consistent and advanced. Dancing is the reflection of the world, and the world around is constantly changing and evolving. New rising stars are always trying to dance better than a generation before them. The dance forms that don't change are the dances that are no longer danced, probably with exception of ritual dancing, where the whole point is to preserve the ritual the way it is because it is a ritual.
