it's a story ive wriiten, which begins with a poem (i havent written the poem yet).
the story is about a group of teenagers (an Emo, a Goth, a Prep and a Chav) and how they make attempts to avoid peer pressure and try to avoid being/gving into stereotypes.
Emo: constantly tries to commit suicide
Goth: Writes poetry and stories about death and hatred
Prep: Drowns herself in reading books
Chav: Struggles the most to avoid the pressure

Ive decided to finish it, and I haven't really decided what's going to happen yet, but if anyone wants to contribute what they think should happen next or just has any opinions lease let me know.

Preferably modern stuff, i.e. written in the last decade or so. Any genre is acceptable, aside from fantasy. Reading level is irrelevant, but it needs to be something that would probably interest someone in the age range of 14-18.

I was wondering, do you think it's possible for a teenager to write a best selling novel? There are so many great books out there, and so many famous series are ending, do you think the next great author could be a teenager?

I'm writing a book. It takes place in 1915, in Florence, Italy. The main topic is about rights and justice, and maybe a little romance (because the main character, which is a girl, falls in love with a boy). I don't want to give away the plot because I wouldn't want to risk it being copied...but I think that I'm making things a little too dramatic in the novel.

Could someone give me their opinion on how often this problem may occur (making things too dramatic in the novel) and how dangerous it could be? And to the writers, does this ever happen to you? Oh, and also your thoughts on what genre this novel I'm writing would be? Please ask to elaborate a little if needed. thnx!!!

Hi! I have to write a 15 page paper on Kerouac's works, and want some ideas for a topic. (I have read many of them). I have been thinking of doing something along the lines of "religion" or "the American dream" but these seem trite and also very hard to reach 15 pages. Any suggestions!?

I find myself going crazy without a book to read . And I will read anything - any sort of trashy stuff if I am bereft.
It feels on the edge of being compulsive not just want but total need

"Everything you always wanted to know about sex (but were afraid to ask)"? Yes, the new version.

If you are an old timer, at what age would you have considered okay to read the old version of it.

So i have a quote that I have to present. I got "I hate the Moor" by Iago. I need to present how it reaveals a conflict in the play.

Another quote is when Emilia finds the handkerchief and says, "I am glad I have found this napkin...My wayward husband hath a hundred times woo'd me to steal it; but she so loves the token...I nothing but to please his fantasy." I need to say why this quote foreshadows later events.

Thanks guys!! Anything will help!

Uncle Tom's Cabin which is apparently over 400 pages long? Keep in mind that I am a slow reader, especially if it is a boring book. (Junior in High School)

Writing a book (I think) but would like some feed back. Here is just a part of it, What do you think?

Jeb needed more rest, but that would have to wait, they had no idea how far behind them the soldiers were. Jeb, Linda and Aenohe knew the soldiers would not give up easily and they were sure that the Ranger would be in the hunt with them. This was their only chance to stay in front and with luck, lose them completely. With the horses ready they helped Jeb mount up, he was feeling better and seemed ready for the ride. Aenohe wanted to help, he felt like these two whites were family to him, real family he no longer had, family that died fighting the white man.
