"Everything you always wanted to know about sex (but were afraid to ask)"? Yes, the new version.

If you are an old timer, at what age would you have considered okay to read the old version of it.

If someone is old enough to understand the vocabulary, its alright for them to read it. Its an informal but informative book.

Teaching abstinence-only sex education is like repeatedly scolding children "don't touch fire" without telling them why. When the kid gets a second degree burn, the abstinence-only group only says "the kid deserved it for questioning our INFINITE wisdom".

I AM an old timer, and the following is true: When I was about 10(1970 or so), my friends and I found that book and some pornography inside a shopping bag, hidden in the woods near our house. We each divvied it up and took it home . My dad found out and whupped my butt. BTW, the original book(and its sequels)by "Dr." David Reuben were largely debunked as erroneous.

I guess I'm an old-timer! So I would say 15 or thereabouts, considering the maturity of the teenager. It's educational, not pornographic.

Well in this day and age where kids are active younger...you start them off younger...so 12 is a good time if you arent comfortable with that then wait till 14 but dont wait too long you dont want them to be active with no knowledge of what they are doing.

I'd rather have them know the facts early than be asking their friends and getting the wrong information, so 12 or 13 depending on how mature they are.

lol...well, I know that I didn't even know what was going on in junior high school, let alone reading about it. I guess we were a lot more innocent in those days,,and I know many can relate to me on that one. I would have said, when you are legally old enough to engage in it, and back then, it would have been when you were married.

I don't know, but I read that book when I was about 14.
I recall that I saw it as more entertaining than anything.
