I always try to challenge myself to read more each year. I was just curious how many everyone read. I know we still have a few weeks left this year but make a close guess. Thanks

I am writing a book and need to obtain the copyright. I checked the Govt. website for titles already under protection and found it a bit confusing.
Suppose the title of my book was:
Dancing Around, a New Twist on Footwork
When I did a search on "Dancing Around", it had already been taken. When I did a search for Dancing Around, a New Twist on Footwork, nothing came up.
I am wondering if anyone knows if there could be a problem since Dancing Around has already been taken? Thanks.

...the minute the author "Outed" Professor Dumbledore?
Or is everyone else just as disappointed with the ending as I am? It seems like suddenly no one is talking about poor Harry any more!

I'm looking for some new books to read this Christmas, fiction mainly (no war books).

A break from the mainstream circuit of the classics e.g: Orwell-Stephen King-Catch22- Catcher in the Rye-War and Peace-Dan Brown-Ludlam-Clancy is the main aim.

Can you recommend any good reads? The main theme I'm looking for is Michael Marshall-Smith kind of books, and a friend has mentioned that Dean Koontz is a good read also.

Cheers

How many books do you read a year?
I go through phases. I´ll read for about 2-3 hours everyday for months, one book after another, and then suddenly I stop reading completely for a long time and turn to surf on the internet or watch TV instead.
