Basically, it's about a bunch of kids who were on a plane, the plane, crashed and they're on an island alone. the book talks about the de-evolution of a soceity when a society is forced to fend for onesself. These kids, at first, realize that it's great no one's around to tell them what to do. Eventually, they start their own order and leadership, but the order breaks off into two seperate tribes. One tribe is full of a bunch of savages, and the other tribe is just trying to make ends meet. In the ned, important characters die, and they all realize what has really happened.

Ummmm
- Piggy dies with a rock to the head
- The way they get on the Island is through a plane crash
- boys obtain a conch shell and use it to call the other boys from across the island.
- They use piggys sun glasses to light a fire
- they spilt into to groups
Basically the books about these kids who get stranded on and island. they have no food or drinks, No adults. They have to learn how to survie, and in the end it became survival of the fitest.
Ps. Theres a movie its pretty acurate and is good for making you remember things...
And you really should read the book it's good....
i thought it would be dumb but it was facinating.

Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, is a short novel about a group of boys from various private schools in the United Kingdom who are going home for vacation. On their flight, however, their plane crashes on an island and the boys are left on their own (keep in mind this is during World War II and the children get terrified easily as some are as young as six). Jack is the bossy one in charge of the choir boys who likes to hunt and eventually leads the boys to kill Piggy, the stocky nerd. Simon is also killed by the children who basically go crazy and don't quite realize what they are doing. Ralph is the calm-ish leader who is elected and tries to keep the boys in check. Eventually, they get rescued by a soldier flying overhead after their crazy situations of terror, anger, jealousy, and power-hungriness. It's a crazy good book - I would read it when you have time for fun.

the lord of the flies is a story about what happens to a bunch of kids who are stranded on an island without adult supervision.
Most of the kids get lazy and do as little as possible and set themselves up to fail english literature exams or see the devil in a swarm of flies...

A group of kids get stranded on an island and end up dividing into two tribes. They become enemies. I can't remember all of it but I read the cliff notes in an hour and aced the test. That was about 20 years ago.

Lord of the Flies is about a bunch of kids playing Halo on a stranded island. Piggy is Master Chief. That is all you have to remember.

The Lord of the flies is of course the pigs head. But it is symbolic for the devil and Simon is confronting him like Christ. Evidence is "You know perfectly well that you're going down there with me". Even though Simon is imaging it, on some deep connection he is talking to him. The devil knows that there is evil in everyone and he wants Simon to stop from proving that there is no "beast" and from the truth from coming out. Then the children will stop worshipping the devil.

How odd, they gave you a book today that you have a final exam on tomorrow. How cruel and unusual.
You should just resign yourself to the fact you aren't going to do well on the exam.
