I wouldn't leave out
"The Sunset National Garden Book" by Sunset Books [U.S.] (who also put out regional books)-- I like these in particular...

and

"The Time Life Books Complete Guide To Gardening and Landscaping" by Time-Life Books.

There is also "The Joy of Gardening (Garden Way Books)" by Dick Raymond

"Gardening All-in-One for Dummies" by the National Gardening Association, Bob Beckstrom, Karan Davis Cutler and Kathleen Fisher

"The Complete Book of Herb and Herb Gardening" by Jessica Houdret (sp)

"The Complete Book to Practical Gardening" by Mottoy, Berry and Bradley

and

I like what I see of your books
"Plantfinder" --a nice, big selection from all over the world.

I couldn't find "Gardenfinder [rhs]"... not knowing what rhs means, I guess.

And I found the books I listed
(because I rely only on the Sunset Books, which list so much about each plant, include excellent drawings, and bits about those bugs that can come into the system and how to get rid of them...)

...on http://www.amazon.com

I listed only those I've heard about and that had a five-star rating on Amazon.
Of course you can look through the many pages yourself, and also see what Amazon charges for the books, etc. etc.

Interesting; thanks--
