Kit Tyler & Nat Eaton: These two both sound very fun and carefree.

Mercy Wood & John Holbrook: These two are both very much middle-of the road.

Judith Wood & William Ashby: These two sound more serious and lack-luster.

How could anyone do that without reading the character analysis of the people? Opposites attract. I would have to know a lot about the people before I could make such decisions. That is why before I write anything, I spend weeks or even months doing my homework - analyzing my plot, doing studies of my characters. You cannot just choose by names. That is silly. I have a very exotic sounding French name. I married a guy with the most normal sounding name you could imagine. Names mean nothing. Characterization means everything.
