Hi guys,
I want to write a book, although i am only 15 years old i dont think this matters. I am prepared to spend 90% of my spare time writing and perfecting this book. I have always got A's and A+'s for writing storys as homework. So do you think i am capable of doing it. If so what do you think i should write about, all ideas welcome.

Thank you guys :)

this just seems stupid, a pathetic ploy to seem politically correct after the fact. If there were to be gay wizards they should have been there from the start. Not released after the fact. It just seems a poor tactic on Rowling's part. A more talented author wouldn't try to tell it's readers how to view there characters, they would allow them to make it their own. what do you think?

Do you think that J.K. Rowling should have said anything about this or should she have just kept that to herself since the series is over?

I love fantasy books about things out of the ordinary and that have dragons in them. I am a girl and thirteen years old. Some books I have read that I really like are Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke, The Fire Within books by Chris D'Lacey, and Eragon and Eldest. As you can see, I like long and interesting books, especially series and books with sequels. Any other good books I might like?

I'm a vegetarian -- a vegan, and I've been BOTH over half MY natural life. I'd like to discuss that autobiographically, but I want to protect the innocent: me, my friends, my current and former coworkers, in the same way I want to protect animals.

He was wild, crazed, and reckless. He saw through bloody eyes. His mind was slightly altered from the norm. He constantly fought off demons and evil spirits. Still, he had high hopes and expectations. Along with his militant mind frame came organizational skills beyond comparison. His name was Demetrius. However, people called him meech. He was a poo poo head.

Strickly out of curiosity: Say that I wanted to publish a book. I find a reputable publisher to print and distribute it. Purchase price is set at whatever a regular book in whatever genre usually is. On average, how is the percentage of that price broken down into? What percent goes for supplies, editor's/publisher's share, and so forth?

What percentage of the purchase price actually reaches the author's pocket? Anyone know?
