I haven't read it it was recomended to me by a friend she keeps talking about this Edward guy. She say's it's great, any thoughts?

Twilight is a good book. The story is a romance between Bella, a High School student, and Edward, a boy in the school who has unusual powers who Bella soon learns is a vampire. There are two published sequels and at least one more on the way.
I have some problems with the book. In this version of vampire lore, none of the usual tricks - sunlight, garlic, stakes - that are supposed to kill vampires work. Meyers' vampires are so powerful and invulnerable that you wonder why they even bother hiding.
Overall, if you enjoy teen romance and/or supernatural romance you'll probably like this book.

I haven't read it, but my sister has read all three books in the series and she loves them. She just finished it again last night. The only thing I know is that it's about Vampires and a love story or something like that. She also told me that they are going to make the movie and it should be out sometime in 2010

well, Twilight is a great book in my opinion. Twilight is about a girl named Bella Swan, who's moving in with her divorced dad, in Forks, Washington. she's the new girl at school, and that's when she spots Edward Cullen and his family. She asks about the cullens and finds out that the small group at the lunch table were, Edward and his brothers and sisters. That same day Bella finds out that she has a class with Edward, and sits next to him. She notices that he's starring at her like he hated her. the next couple of days Bella notices that the Edward wasn't at school, but then the next couple of days Edward is back at school and is acting nice to her. later on they become like friends, but Bella is noticing that there's something werid with Edward and his family and is thinking that they're not human. later on, Bella was going to get run over and was being followed in Port Angeles, but Edward saved her. later on in the book Bella and Edward become a couple, and then something is going tho happen to her, but you have to read the book. Great is a huge understatement when it comes to Twilight. Seriously, read it. It is amazing.
