I only think Dumbledore is really dead cause JKR said so 3 times.waaah!

But I dont think Sirius is dead! I think that theres something up with that archway thing with the curtain. Also I've never seen JKR say that Sirius is dead, she's said Dumbledore's dead but I havent seen her say Sirius is dead.

I've heard that the Mirror Sirius gave Harry is gonna be important in the last book, what d'you think?

Some people can read anywhere, but as for me, I need a comfortable couch to lay on in a cleaned room, one lamp, and the only sound I want to hear is the drone of a fan of some sort. If these conditions aren't met, it is very difficult for me to keep my concentration.

Does anyone know of a book about a physically disabled boy? He lives with his family at home but is completely paralyzed, but still mentally in-tact. This main character's father is a doctor who is very popular, and goes on a television show in the book promoting euthanasia. Ultimately, the book ends up with the father being convinced that his son wishes to die, even though his son wants nothing of the sort. It's very suspenseful during this time, and the last scene of the book is in the middle of the night when the father walks into his son's room. It is uncertain what is going to happen at that point, and the author leaves the end with the main character hoping that his father is only coming to comfort him, not kill him.

Anyone know of this book?

A short commentary might work. I'm not looking for something too academic... but I don't want new age fluff either.

About 2 years ago i read a book but i cant for the life of me remember the name of it. The story was about a girl working at a country club and she met a boy who had cancer. Or maybe it was the other way around. im not really sure. But the boy ends up telling the girl(or vice versa) that he has cancer. Then it ends at the end of the summer and at the back of the book it says there is a sequel. The title to the sequel contained the words kiss and death but i cant remember it and it makes me so mad. its not the sweet valley high book. it is a teenage fiction book. please help

Is the story of Peter Pan copyrighted at the moment, and if so, to whom? Does it fall under Fair Use? I've been thinking of doing a comic book adaptation of it, but I'm not sure if that's legal. Does anyone know if it would be or not?

I know there are a million and one questions about "books about Paganism"- but does anybody know offhand of any good books that are "old"? I'm not exactly sure what I even mean by old, just... I guess it would be cool to read something that wasn't written before the boom in the 50s, and again in the 80s and 90s, you know? I'm looking for respected literature that's a little more timeless.

Thanks in advance!

My 6 year old daughters favourite song is Romeo Juliet as covered by The Killers at the moment. It breaks her heart but she insists on watching it on youtube over and over.

I really need help with the story as I never did Shakespere. I know it was a love story, I know they died but please help me in 6 year old terms how the story goes. I need it to be basic for her to understand.

Thank you in advance.

I'm trying to find a list of books which were published in English, for learning Persian. Is there any place where I can find a chronological list of these antique books?

I'm quite interested to know which books Professor Edward Granville Browne (1862–1926) used to learn Persian and Arabic. I know he used the "Turkish Reading Book" by William Burckhardt Barker to learn Ottoman Turkish. That book was published in 1854. I'm looking for Persian.Arabic textbooks from the same era.
