I'm gonna download some books from Project Gutenberg, I need some suggestions, know of any good ones?

I don't wanna download anything boring like Shakespeare, know of any that are about medieval times?

Is it any good?

I was at a flea market today, and while my dad was looking through some boxes of old books, I just glanced over the shelf and saw 'From the Author of The Virgin Suicides' written really tiny on a book that was turned differently than the others.

I picked it up and saw it was only $2.50, so I bought it.

I know that a short biography of the book is printed inside, but I wanted personal opinions.

What's 'Middlesex' about, and is it any good?

I like murder mysteries....but it cant have a slow start. I used to love to read but now I cant find any good ones! Any suggestions out there? A site where you could rate books that youve read and then it would give you suggestions, like netflix, would be awesome....in a dorkish sorta way. But anything suspenseful or just really interesting suits me fine.
