I don't have one favourite book but I liked the Franklin series, the Spot series and also books by Robert Munsch.

Mr. Pudgins by Ruth Christoffer Carlsen. About a magical babysitter who could make bath tubs fly and soda come out of faucets. It was wonderful and, unfortunately, out of print.

Well it all depends on what you mean by child?

When i was 5 or so, my favorite book was Green Eggs And Ham, However when i was around 10-11 my favorite book was from The Red Wall series (Brian Jacques) and now.. it is WaterShip Down(Richard Adams)

Enid Blyton books ie. The Magic Faraway Tree, The Wishing Chair there are lots of them

I was an early reader...........but I'd have to say my favorite book from childhood was called "Five Little Peppers and How They Grew". In fact I still have it and my 9 year old daughter is almost through it. I also loved Trixie Belden mysteries and the Little House books.

Enid Blyton (all ot her books!) Anne of Green Gables, When Marnie was there, The Outsiders far too many to list can't just pick one!

When I was really young, "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.

When I was a little older I got into "The Boxcar Children" mysteries, also "Charlotte's Web".

Huckleberry Finn, or a book called 'The Borrowers.' Can't remeber who wrote that one, but it wa made into a ont-too-successful movie. Anyone know the author?
