I believe it was a young adult novel, I was prob in middle school. It was about a mother who abandoned her 4 [could be 3] children and their struggle to survive. I believed they journeyed to find the one aunt they knew of. Thats all I remember. It was a really good book and I want to find it so my little sister can read it. can anyone help me.

I'm looking for something new and interesting to read. I'll read just about anything, as long as it's fiction, and I'm especially interested in science-fiction, fantasy, and horror. Adherence to these genres isn't important - I'm just looking to add to my list. Thanks!

particularly with character development. I have a plot and plan on how and when to introduce and execute things, but creating sound, interesting and "deep" charaters are very difficult to me. Can someone please assist? Any responses are appreciated.

I also want to point out that this book falls into the suspense/thriller category so the charaters are key..

I need to write a paper on it, and i dont know ehre to start, the guidelines are:

In it you will summarize the main themes of the book and compare the issues these immigrants faced with issues that current immigrants to the U.S. face. In order to do this you will have to have at least one outside source on contemporary immigration to the U.S.

I'm looking for the book 'Anne of Green Gables' by LM Montgomery, which is easy enough, but I need to find a version written in Russian, so I can send them to my foster daughter, who is Russian.

Similarly if anyone can find any of the 'Famous Five' series by Enid Blyton in Russian that would be great.

If anyone could direct me to a site I would be most grateful. Thanks for helping me.

If all the world and love were young,
And truth in every shepherd's tongue,
These pretty pleasures might me move
To live with thee and be thy love.

Time drives the flocks from field to fold
When rivers rage and rocks grow cold,
And Philomel becometh dumb;
The rest complains of cares to come.

The flowers do fade, and wanton fields
To wayward winter reckoning yields;
A honey tongue, a heart of gall,
Is fancy's spring, but sorrow's fall.

The gowns, thy shoes, thy beds of roses,
Thy cap, thy kirtle, and thy posies
Soon break, soon wither, soon forgotten,—
In folly ripe, in reason rotten.

Thy belt of straw and ivy buds,
Thy coral clasps and amber studs,
All these in me no means can move
To come to thee and be thy love.

But could youth last and love still breed,
Had joys no date nor age no need,
Then these delights my mind might move
To live with thee and be thy love.

I just finished writing an essay on someone who is a leader in my life and i chose my grandma. I have been writing all day and suddenly have hit a wall. I have everything done except a conclusion. Would anybody be able to come up with a good conclusion?? I just want to say how my grandma is a big leader in my life. In the rest of the essay i said how she helped everyone cheer up after her daughter died as an adult and how she helps the community by volunteered at a hospital for 30+ years so we could tie that in. Thanks :)

Any good YA Romance? Not some corny love tale, but deep true love.
Ones that are so breathtaking, and make you cry at the end becuase they love is so perfectly unperfect.
Not anything by nicholas sparks please. I don't like him.
YA, [16-20 years old],That sort of age range.
I already read twilight and new moon[[[Favorite]]

I love books that are very deep and emotional, those ones that have an impacting feel, and make you cry at the end. Those heart breaking novels about how some teens feel and how they have to live. For example Cut By patricia McCormick and Invisible by Pete hautman, and Speak by Someone Anderson. Please Give as many suggestions you can.
