News reports indicate it is the best selling book this year, and every year. Why doesn't it appear on published best-seller lists?

I have already memorized Jabberwocky (well, mostly, anyway), but I am not sure what Lewis Carroll meant by some of the lines. I know the poem has quite a few portmanteaus, and I understand the first few lines, but some of the words I'd like to know what mean, such as "O frabjous day!" or "frumious Bandersnatch."

It's sorta portraying the story of a little mermaid, but its different than that ill try to explain it from what i remember.Of course she lived under the sea and i think she had a bunch of sisters and her father ruled the ocean, and she falls in love with someone who lives on land, but somehow she dies, and he falls in love with someone else, its a picture book,i just remember the last couple of pages, was her holding a knife over the girl whom he fell in love with.If im remembering right because i havent read it a long time.I bought it at k-mart,or target, dont remember. Its a childrens story though.

"Consider the fearful danger you are in; it is a great furnace of wrath, a wide and bottomless pit, full of the fire of wrath, that you are held over in the hand of that God, whose wrath is provoked and incensed as much against you, as against many of the damned in Hell. You hang by a slender thread, with the flames of divine wrath flashing about it, and ready every moment to singe it, and burn it asunder; and you have no interest in any mediator, and nothing to lay hold of to save yourself, nothing to keep off the flames of wrath, nothing of your own, nothing that you ever have done, nothing that you can do, to induce God to spare you.... The sovereign pleasure of God, for the present, stays his rough wind; otherwise it would come like a whirlwind, and you would be like the chaff of the summer threshing floor."

I'm doing a speech on banned books and I need to know the process someone has to go through to get the book banned. I know it first has to be challenged... but isn't there something before that? and what about what's after? Please, help! Thanks!!!
