The six books have collectively sold more than 300 million copies [2][3] and have been translated into 47 languages.[4] The first volume has been translated into Latin and even ancient Greek, [5] making it the longest work in that language since the novels of Heliodorus of Emesa in the third century AD. It is Potter, that is the correct spelling. Well, I suppose if J. Rawling had been born somewhere else, the books would no doubt still be written. What is the difference anyway, they are out and a huge success, so just enjoy and dont question.

what language a book is written in doesnt determine whether or not it will be a success, it is the story.
